A Salute to All Countries (But Mostly America)

It's July Fourth week, and right next to Thanksgiving and Christmas, I think of this as a holiday all about eating.  Who doesn't love the idea of going out, watching fireworks, enjoying the summer weather, all while enjoying the whiff of food cooking on the grill?  

As a tribute to all things American, this week I'm featuring recipes from Liberty Tree Tavern.  All of the foods this week are American-style cuisine, great for outdoor eating and festivities, and, perhaps the most fun, they're a sort of vintage-cuisine...  The recipes are colonial America-inspired and the menu itself hasn't had any significant changes since the 90's.  This classic style makes the Liberty Tree Tavern quite unique in Disney, and a whole lot of fun to cook as it's a style and a cuisine type that really brings me back.

As Sam would say, "it is the American way!"
